TEAM MEMBER PROFILE: BRIAN C. TRAWEEK, P.E.

Brian Traweek is a cornerstone of Kaufman Engineering's Mine Planning and Permitting services.

Before joining Kaufman Engineering, Inc., Brian worked for Chemical Lime Company based in Fort Worth, Texas as Manager of Mine Planning at the corporate office. His responsibilities included planning oversight for 13 active industrial minerals quarries, with specific responsibility in the areas of Life-of-Mine Planning, 5-Year Mine Planning, coordination of company-wide Annual Mine Planning and Annual Budgeting processes; permitting technical support, mobile equipment selection and justification, drilling and blasting optimization, crushing and screening plant layout and optimization, auditing of Reserve utilization and operational efficiency. Prior to joining Chemical Lime, Brian worked for BHP Billiton and ASARCO, Inc. He has a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Mr. Traweek has experience in natural gas lease contract negotiation in Texas and Pennsylvania. He has provided natural gas lease technical consulting services for individuals, neighborhood associations, and large-scale industrial clients.
